Q: What is Energy Healing?
A: Energy healing is often used to describe a number of healing modalities, including; Brennan Healing Science, Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Spiritual Healing, Laying-on-of-Hands Healing, Vortex Healing, Theta Healing, and others. Most energy healing methods require the energy healer to enter an expanded state of awareness, and a higher state of vibration during the healing. The healer uses energy, color, sound and light healing techniques to work on the the client's physical body, emotional body, as well as the aura and chakra system. The healer works to restore and balance the flow of energy in the body. This energy is often called "universal life force energy," the Chinese know it as qi; the Japanese ki; in India, it is prana. The body's energy system has been recognized for many years by many cultures around the world, but is just now beginning to be accepted into professional western medicine.
Q: What is the Aura?
A: The aura is the field of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates all living creatures. Auras around conscious living objects (people, animals, plants) change with emotion, thoughts and health. The Aura around non-living objects (stones, crystals, water) remains relatively unchanged. The Aura has been known and documented for thousands of years. Since we have not included information about the aura in our education programs, many people are just being introduced to this information for the first time. Auras are perceived as light colors surrounding people or objects. By seeing someone's aura you can sometime see the other person's thoughts before you hear them speak. Modern study of the aura shows that colors and intensity of the aura, around and above the head have unique meanings. Generally a person with a bright, and clean aura, is considered in good health or maybe spiritually advanced, where a dark or dull aura, may indicate health problems. Today the study of the aura is highly advanced and many researchers around the world have written books and published studies about aura phenomena, interpretation and diagnosis.
